According to reports, Russian officials apprehended a guy in connection with a planned car bomb assault against US journalist Tucker Carlson when he was visiting Russia.

The failed assassination plan allegedly included an IED targeting Carlson's car at Moscow's Four Seasons hotel. After being apprehended, the suspect reportedly acknowledged to accepting $4000 in exchange for carrying out the attack.

It is believed that the attempted murder was planned by the intelligence service of Ukraine, which put Tucker Carlson on its "kill list" after learning of his intention to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow last month.

A website called Myrotvorets, with its headquarters in Kyiv, keeps track of individuals who are deemed to be "enemies of Ukraine," or, as the website puts it, "people whose actions have signs of crimes against the national security of Ukraine, peace, human security, and the international law."

This list frequently includes personal information about these individuals.

Carlson's vocal anti-Zelensky sentiments and his recent interview with Putin, according to the Kyiv authorities, have earned him the designation of "enemy of Ukraine," which they believe would erode Western commitment to support the war effort.
