The bold assertion is based on dubious data from the University of Michigan, which receives funding from the WEF. It claims that food grown at home emits five times as much carbon dioxide as food purchased from a shop. The ecology is threatened by private gardens, it concludes.

Musk said he thought a carbon tax was important "to tax what is probably bad (CO2), just like alcohol & cigarettes are taxed more than fruits & vegetables" in response to questions from his followers.

Regarding the recent University of Michigan research against gardens, it was covered by The Telegraph (UK) and other corporate media sources, who disseminated its findings as gospel.

Alt-Market.us reported on the study, stating that "garden infrastructure" for individual plots (such raised beds) contributes considerably more carbon pollution than large-scale farming. The study involves investigation of diverse gardens, from private family plots to urban and community plots.

Although I doubt they truly care to take these types of factors into consideration, raised beds are more efficient and can produce more food in a less space—a fact that the research appears to neglect.

It turns out that the new research is funded, surprise!, by wealthy globalists who oppose human rights. It was made possible by a variety of multinational organizations, notably the EU's Horizon Program. By the way, one of the main objectives of the Horizon Program is to achieve "100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030," which would ultimately result in the complete takeover of all cities by the carbon agenda by 2050.

The organizations who funded the most recent research against gardening have billions of dollars at their disposal to use climate misinformation to sway public opinion. In other words, the new study could not have reached a different conclusion given its funding source.

Will home gardening be outlawed as a result of the study? Maybe in the end. One thing it will undoubtedly accomplish is instill in the naive the notion that food must originate from a corporate entity to be deemed “safe” for the environment. This will ultimately transform backyard gardeners into felons who will be labeled as contributors to climate change.
